Cassy Magee is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Cassy received her M.A. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Fresno Pacific University in 2012. Additionally, she has a B.F.A. in Fine Art from East Carolina University. Cassy practices through an Existential/Humanistic theoretical orientation (focus on gaining more self-awareness, and finding greater meaning in life); she also utilizes Solution Focused Therapy (focus on gaining awareness, growth, and finding solutions to current problems), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (focus on identifying and changing negative/unhealthy thoughts and thinking patterns), and Psychodynamic Therapy (focus on how current feelings and behaviors are influenced by the unconscious mind, and past/childhood experiences) within sessions. She uses her art background and experience in her clinical work, providing assistance to her clients with unique and creative interventions. She has extensive experience working with the neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ population, and those with depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
